BC Transit is continuing to refresh the long-term vision for transit service in the Victoria region through the ongoing Victoria Regional Transit Plan. To ensure our handyDART customers have their say, public engagement events and an online survey launch on November 28, 2025 and will be available until December 22, 2025.
In support of the online survey, BC Transit will also be hosting 3 open houses. Come speak with BC Transit representatives to learn more at one of the open houses listed below:

The upcoming engagement will focus on:
Enhancing the handyDART customer experience: including booking, wait times, reliability, and overall satisfaction.
Identifying future service improvements: from expanded service hours to new tools like enhanced online booking, and electronic fare payment.
Strengthening access and equity: ensuring handyDART supports independence, well-being, and mobility for people of all ages, abilities, and circumstances.
The insights gathered from the survey and in-person engagements will feed into the refreshed and updated Victoria Regional Transit Plan. The refreshed plan will be the foundation used for future service planning recommendations focused on handyDART as BC Transit continues to invest in fixed route and handyDART service to meet the needs of the growing communities until 2050.
