In partnership with VIA Transportation, BC Transit and the City of Kelowna introduced a new type of transit service to Crawford which launched on April 28th 2024. 15 Crawford OnDemand operates all day 7 days a week with varying service levels.
On April 28th 2025 service will become fully by request. The two trips that are currently operating fixed route service at 8:00am and 3:30pm will be removed and in its place you will be able to book rides between 7:00am and 7:00pm.
What does this mean for you?
If you only use the OnDemand service and not conventional, nothing will change! You can continue to use the service as you have for the past year.
If you currently wait for the bus and only ride at those two trip times, you will need to start requesting trips instead. You can:
