Why are we engaging?
As part of the 2025 Victoria Regional Transit Plan (VRTP) engagement process, members of the public expressed strong interest in improved transit connections to the YYJ.
Staff have developed a network optimization option that could enable direct routing between Downtown Victoria and YYJ without the need to transfer.
This option has trade-offs, and BC Transit is requesting public feedback on service options to best meet the needs of our existing, future, and prospective users.
How will your feedback be used?
Your feedback as part of this engagement will be reviewed by BC Transit’s Planning staff and incorporated into reporting for the Victoria Regional Transit Commission. Staff will compile and analyze feedback to guide future routing recommendations to the Victoria Regional Transit Commission for approval.
