What could be improved?
almost 2 years agoCLOSED: This ideas has concluded.Crystalalmost 2 years agoPlease add a more direct "shuttle" to YQQ from Driftwood Mall, downtown Courtenay, and Ryan Rd at Lerwick.

More frequent, direct short routes rather than trying to service all areas twice a day. Follow the schedule you write - actual arrival/ departure times deviate widely. Better drivers that are not ageist- I am in my 40’s so I haven’t experienced this but I have regularly witnessed the bus drivers in this community discriminate against young people, mostly teenage boys. One driver almost drove over a young fellow trying to get his bike off the front I was a driver and unable to intervene safely. It was scary and he was unapologetic. Smaller busses. Our buses are never full. They could easily be replaced with smaller, more accessible and eco friendly buses.

0 comment0Crystalalmost 2 years agoPlease add more options for hcw's and patients to get to CVH from West Courtenay, especially in the early mornings for shift start times.
0 comment0Johncalmost 2 years agoSeparated Bike Lane Between Courtenay <> Cumberland
Take advantage of our nice weather to allow biking to be a viable option between the two communities. Cumberland is already known for biking, and building it along the parkway could connect to Courtenay's Fitzgerald st. bike lane, to go Downtown Courtenay to Cumberland easily.
