What is a Transit Future Action Plan?

A planning document that identifies improvements to transit services and describes the path to implement those improvements. The plan typically focuses on changes to be made in the short to medium term, with additional priorities identified for the long term.

The goal of the North Okanagan Transit Future Action Plan is to help guide decision-making for transit in the Vernon Regional Transit System. This plan focuses on the local, regional and interregional routes providing service within the Regional District of North Okanagan, City of Vernon, District of Coldstream, and between Vernon and Kelowna.
