Why arnt the times better for connections with other busses. Sometimes I miss a connection by 2 min.

Hi Lorna,
Thanks for your question. We try our best to coordinate schedules between routes to ensure riders are able to connect to other buses, but recognize that sometimes this isn't possible. We've noted your feedback for future consideration.
Why did you opt to have handydart with steps and no ramp. Do not like the lift and anyone with a walker or cane does dot like riding in it.

Hi Daisy,
Thanks for your question. Some vehicles in the Vernon handyDART are equipped with ramps that riders can use to board the bus. Others have lifts at the side rear, where a platform raises and lowers to get passengers on and off the bus, but no front ramp. All of our vehicles have front stairs so that riders can board that way if they are able.
Are you looking at adding a route on Middleton Way going from Vernon to Coldstream and around the mountain

Hi MHEM,
We are looking to add a new route that travels from the downtown transit exchange to Okanagan College, via Middleton Way, Mt. Thor Way and Husband Road. Our survey has the full route map which you can review, if you'd like! Your feedback on this future route is appreciated.
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A BUS THAT COVERED 30 AVE FROM ONE END THE OTHER FOR OLDER PEDESTRIANS WHO WANT TO GET GROCERIES AND OR HEALTH CARE AND SHOPPING

Hi Pamela,
Thanks for your suggestion! Several routes currently provide transit service along different stretches of 30th Avenue, but you're correct that there is no single route that covers the entirety of 30th Avenue. We will keep this suggestion in mind moving forward.
Hi... iam asking if u could ever have an.earlier bus mon to fri from ubco to vernon... I have denied a job due to the lack of the times ..... I need to be in Vernon by 730 8 am....

Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for your question! The 2014 Transit Future Plan called for an expansion of Route 90 service, with hourly trips between 7 AM and 7 PM. We will be carrying this recommendation through into the Transit Future Action Plan, as we know riders would like to see more service on this route.
WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE A BUS ROUTE THAT CIRCLES THE CITY? USE PARTS OF ROUTES 2-3-4-8-9-60 AND 61. THIS WOULD TAKE THE BUS FROM EAST HILL UP TO WAL-MART AND OVER TO VERNON SQUARE OVER TO ALEXIS PARK DRIVE, OVER TO POLSON PARK MALL AND UP TO VERNON HEALTH CENTER. THEN YOU COULD HAVE SMALLER ROUTES IN AND OUTSIDE OF THIS ROUTE. IT WOULD GET YOU AROUND TOWN FASTER I THINK. YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO CHANGE BUSES AS OFTEN.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your question! We explored a loop route for Vernon in the past, but with the introduction of Route 9 North End the goal was to capture many of the destinations that would have been covered by the loop, and to provide more frequent service between the north end and downtown Vernon.
