  • Can we get a connection to Earl's Cove from Secret Cove or Half Moon Bay?

starcraft99fan asked about 3 years ago

Thanks for your suggestion. We highly encourage you to take the survey, which includes a proposal for service to Earl's Cove (proposal 7). We'd love to hear your thoughts!

  • Why not run Routes 2 and 3 as one circular route? Go from the village through West Sechelt, up Mason, around through Gale Ave N and back to West Porpoise Bay or vice versa. This would expand coverage to a new region, including the Botanical Gardens. And properly done, the frequency of buses passing by each home would be more regular (no long gaps in service when the bus in on another route.)

  • Why is there no public transport from Sechelt to Earls Cove ferry? Also taking in Madeira Park, Garden Bay and Egmont? We all travel to Langdale too.

  • When will this expansion plan be implemented.

Patricia asked about 3 years ago

Following public engagement, we will report back on what we heard and incorporate feedback into the final plan. Once the final plan has been endorsed, the Sunshine Coast Regional District can integrate the priorities into service planning.

This means we don't have exact dates, but when we do implement changes, we will always let you know at bctransit.com/sunshine-coast

  • can we get dogs on bus sometimes, small dogs maybe under 35 lbs

    asked over 3 years ago

Hi there, assistance animals that are certified are allowed on public transit at all times. Only small fur-bearing or feathered pets contained in secure, clean, hand-held cages are permitted on the bus. Cages (hard or soft shell pet carriers) must be small enough to fit on the owner’s lap.

Passengers must hold onto their pet’s cage at all times. If there is room, the passenger may place and hold the cage beside them on the floor. The cage should not block the aisle or restrict other passengers.
